Nagpur: In major respite to Janardan Moon’s attempt to form a “Secular” Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sang (RSS), the office of Charity Commissioner has quashed plea seeking an objection to it’s registration, recently.
Contending that the RSS founded by K B Hegdewar back in 1925 has not been registered with the office, the Charity Commissioner rejected the plea filed by Deepak Wasantrao Barad and Prashant Kamlakar Bhopardikar against the registration of Moon’s RSS.
Notably, Deepak Wasantrao Barad and Prashant Kamlakar Bhopardikar had lodged a complaint at Charity Commissioner Office back in October 2020, claiming that that Moon’s RSS is spreading misconception among citizens.
However, the RSS founded in 1925 is not registered with this authority, therefore, this authority has no power to entertain the present application objecting the registration of Moon’s RSS, the office of Charity Commissioner has observed.
