Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Nagpur University Dr Pramod Yeole while speaking to media personnel said that all the Gold medalist and Silver medalist will be felicitated with degrees at the hands of Vice Chancellor Dr Siddharth Vinayaka Kane. Apart from that the Chief Guest for the Convocation will be Founder Director of Inter-University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Padmabhushan Dr Jayant Narikar. Vice Chancellor of Nagpur University Dr Siddharth Vinayaka Kane and Registrar of Nagpur University Puran Meshram will be prominently present during the Convocation.

University authorities have officially published the names of the candidates who have bagged the top position in their respective examinations.

Many results yet to be declared

In what could be very shocking, the results of many courses have not been announced as yet. The students are still eagerly waiting for their results. As many as results of the examinations of 32 Courses held in summer and the results of examinations of as many as 12 to 16 Courses held in Winter are yet to be declared claimed many students who flay the authorities of the Nagpur University for the delay in declaring the results.

The failure of declaring the results has caused untold for miseries and harrowing experiences for the students.

This year B.Com results could not be furnished. Surprisingly 75 per cent students were declared unsuccessful in the Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) examination, which sources claimed is a big fiasco in the field of Commerce. 1026 students’ results of the 2014 winter have not declared yet.
