RTMNU Board of Examination meet on July 1, special exam resolution to be main agenda

Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University’s (RTMNU) Board of Examination (BOE) meeting will be held on Tuesday, July 1. The meeting will discuss the Academic Council passed resolution on allowing special examination of the 6616 students from 63 banned colleges.

On June 11, the Education Board, Maharashtra Government had directed the university to regularize and conduct special examination of these students. After discussion in the Academic Council, a resolution was passed in favour of the students.

It may be mentioned here that Controller of Examination (COE), Vilas Ramteke and Dr. Kirti Dixit in the Academic Council meeting had moved dissent note against the holding of special examination. Now, what view or stand does the BOE takes on this issue has to be seen. The resolution will also be sent to Management Council and Governor’s office for their consent.

On Tueday, July 1, the resolution of the Academic Council will also be placed for hearing in the High Court.
