Nagpur: Dr D K Agrawal,newly appointed director of the Board of Colleges and University Development (BCUD) of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) took the charge on Wednesday. Untill now, Dr Shrikant Komawar was handling the charge of BCUD director.
Dr Agrawal has a vast academic experience. Agrawal started his career as a lecturer in Bapurao Deshmukh Engineering College, Sevagram in1984. He has worked in all most all the council’s of RTMNU.
In 1989, he first became Senate member. Then, in 1995 and 2000 also he again continued as Senate member. During this period he also became Academic Council member also.

In 2005, he was elected unopposed as dean of engineering, RTMNU. Then, in 2010 he also came into Management Council. He is a Senate member now. Agrawal is known for studying the issues in-depth, presenting and raising them in the Senate. Dr Agrawal will now start a new innings as the director of BCUD.
Responsibilty of BCUD director
The BCUD director is responsible for the development of the university and its affiliated colleges. It is expected that the vast academic experience of Agrawal will come handy in implementing development policies in the university. Dr D K Agrawal
