Nagpur News: Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU), in a major decision to bring more transparency in various official works of the varsity, henceforth has decided to invite tenders online. Earlier, the university used to publish advertisements in the newspaper for carrying out the work. But this process always used to raise eyebrows of the people in respect of the transparency in allotment of the works to the contractors.
Anoop Kumar, Acting Vice Chancellor (RTMNU) has introduced E- Tender method to bring in transparency. Introduction of e-Tender system will certainly bring in transparency in the process as the University, for many of its works, take the services of private contractors.
Since his taking over as Acting Vice Chancellor, Kumar has been taking radical steps on various pending issues hovering the university.
