Nagpur: A shocking incident has come to the fore in which a Shiv Sena ( UT ) party MLA from Akola slapped a Police Sub-Inspector (PSI) in the Ravi Bhavan premises in Nagpur on Tuesday night.
It is learnt that on Tuesday around 7.30 pm, heated exchange of words erupted between the Shiv Sena ( UT ) party MLA from Akola district and the PSI over some issue in the premises of Ravi Bhavan in the city. During the wordy duel, the MLA allegedly slapped the PSI. Seeing this, other police personnel and people gathered at the spot. Sensing the situation, the MLA left the place in a huff.

The higher officials were informed about the incident. News of the ‘nasty’ incident spread like a wildfire.
It is learnt that Sadar police took cognizance of the incident and registered a case under Section 353 of the IPC. Further probe is underway.
