Rupanshu Ganvir of Shivaji Science College tops IIT Advance in reserved category

Rupanshu Ganvir of Shivaji Science College and an ICADdian stood first in the country in reserved category of IIT Advance, the results of which were declared on Thursday.  Rupanshu secured 24th position in the All India ranking (AIR) in the common merit list. He is also said to be the city topper. Ayush Gupta of Dinanath High School and Junior College has secured 99th position and is the probably second topper from the city.

Apart from Rupanshu four other students of Shivaji Science College and ICADians have notched good rankings Aditya Bhagwat (AIR-404), Ameya Prabhune (AIR 442) and Anurag Bhardwaj (AIR445).

Nearly 20 students of Shivaji Science have qualified for various IIT’s of the country. Over 32 ICADians have cracked JEE Advance this year.

Around 1.5 lakhs students from the country who have cleared JEE Advance will get admissions in various IIT’s, NIT’s and other prominent institutes of the country. With the announcements of the results the much delayed engineering and Architecture admissions in Nagpur will also start from now.

We strive to provide quality and dedicated teaching along with all the required inputs. This will ensure that in the coming 4 to 5 years, Nagpur will feature on the top of National map.

Director (Academics) of ICAD Dilip Vaidya, while expressing his happiness over the results said that it is a matter of great prestige for us that our students have secured such exemplary results. Our students rankings have seen a steady improvement every year.

Prinicipal of Shivaji Science Devendra Bhurghate said that we knew that our students are no less than anyone from any other college. It is great honour and priviledge to have been part of the team which imparted lessons to such students who brought glory to the institution.
