Nagpur: Sandesh Shebe, Geeta Chacherkar, Yash Kumbhalkar and Aishwarya Kachre emerged winners in their respective categories in the district-level cross country that was organised by Nav Maharashtra Krida Mandal on Sunday.
In under-18 boys section, host Nav Maharashtra athlete Sandesh Shebe clocked six-kilometre distance in 10.14 seconds to win the race. He was followed by Nandu Bhujade (Nav Maharashtra-20.09 sec), Pranay Pote (Vidyarthi Yuvak Krida Mandal (20.12 sec) for second and third place.
In the girls section, Vishwavyapi Vidyalaya student Geeta Chacherkar achieved first place with a timing 12.47 seconds. Poonam Nale (Krid aPrabodhini 12.55 sec) and Divya Nakhate (Vishwavyapi Vidyalaya 13.23 sec) came second and third respectively.

In 2.5 kilometer under-14 boys section, Yash Kumbhalkar (Vidyarthi Yuvak), Sahil Lahane (SPG Umred), Alesh Ambule (Maharashtra Vidyalaya, Khaparkheda) and secured first to third place respectively.
In the girls category, Aishwarya Kachre (Krida Prabodhini), Pragati Rakhade (Krida Prabodhini), Avanti Hatwar (Nav Maharashtra) excelled.
