Sanjay Bhoskar honoured with Divyang Outstanding State Sports Award

Nagpur: Sanjay Bhoskar, who has produced hundreds of state level, national level and international disabled athletes in various sports like cricket, sitting volleyball, table tennis, kabaddi and also represented India three times in Paralympic International Games, has been awarded Maharashtra Government’s Outstanding State Sports Award for Disabled Person for the year 2019-20 recently.

Sanjay Ramrao Bhoskar has so far produced 400 state level, 210 national level and 11 international disabled players. He has represented India three times in International Paralympic Games and has been honoured with Nagpur District Sports Award in 2006, Maharashtra Government’s Eklavya State Sports Award in 2013, Outstanding Sports Mentor Award for 2019-20 and Shiv Chhatrapati State Sports Award in 2008 for his spectacular performance in the field of sports.

Sanjay Bhoskar has been associated with the field of sports for the last 30 years and has played for 10 years himself, so far he has won 10 gold, 22 silver and 28 bronze medals in various sports at the national level. He has been continuously working on developing players in various sports since almost 20 years.

Bhoskar, who is working as Upper Division Clerk (Human Resource) in Congress Nagar Division under Mahavitaran’s Nagpur Circle, was felicitated with a bouquet and a book by Regional Director Suhas Rangari and Chief Engineer of Nagpur Circle Dilip Dodke. On this occasion, Superintending Engineer Harish Gajbe, Mangesh Vaidya, Executive Engineer Hemraj Dhoke, Deputy Chief Industrial Relations Officer Sachin Lahne and many senior officials were present.
