Nagpur: A cloth shop in Gandhibagh Wholesale Market was burgled and 30 pieces of sarees worth over Rs 1 lakh were stolen probably an employee of the shop.
The complainant Mithilesh Rajkumar Chhabaria (26) of Wardhaman Nagar owns a shop named A N Enterprises at Wholesale Cloth Market in Gandhibagh. In January this year, Mithilesh had to go out of station for business purpose.
At that period, the accused Subhash Harishchandra Parate (34) of Lalganj, pilfered 30 pieces of sarees worth Rs 1.10 lakh. When the theft came to notice of Mithilesh, he filed a complaint with Tehsil police.
API Giri has booked the accused Subhash under Section 379 of IPC and investigating the matter further.
