Nagpur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested Mohan Jagannath Munne (54), the Sarpanch of Murti Gram Panchayat and Director of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee, for accepting a bribe of ₹3 lakh from land developers. The Panchayat is led by a BJP-elected Sarpanch.
Previously, Munne had accepted ₹1 lakh as part of the bribe. A resident of Pandey Layout in Katol filed a complaint against Munne. Following the complaint, the ACB set up a trap and caught Munne red-handed while accepting the bribe. Paresh Shelke is also involved in this crime, and both accused have been arrested by the police.

Meanwhile, all citizens of Nagpur district are urged to report immediately to the Anti-Corruption Bureau if any government official or private agent demands a bribe for performing any official work, apart from the legitimate fees.
