Nagpur: The top management at HBT Arts and Commerce College, Subhedar Layout under Sakkardara police station has charged its 68-year-old college secretary for defrauding administration by presenting an appointment of bogus security personnel between March 1, 2000 and July 1, 2002 and siphoning off Rs 1,28,306.
Police have booked accused Rehman Khan, resident of Rathod Layout, Police Line Takli, Gittikhadan under section 420, 465, 468, 471 of IPC regarding this connection.

Khan who till date worked as a secretary at HBT College run by Shadab Education Society, Nagpur had reportedly presented fake profile of P D Rathod who worked as security personnel in college. Later by using Rathod’s fake profile, Khan started drawing money from the college administration. For period of over 2 years, accused had drawn Rs 1,28,306 from the college.
Following the complaint of Dr Archana Nerkar (36), chief, High School Education Department Nagpur Division, Sakkardara police have registered a case against accused Khan and started the probe.
