Senior citizen dies in road mishap in Kamptee

Nagpur: A senior citizen was killed after a speeding Alto car hit him near Maskasaath road in Kamptee on the intervening night of Tuesday.

Omprakash Motilal Rode (60), a resident of Maskasaat, was heading home at 5.30 pm. However recklessly driven Alto car (MH/20/AG/883) by accused Pawan Ramdas Satai (29) resident of Yerkeda, Ganesh Lay-out in a great speed knocked him down near Memon building.

Omprakash who sustained grievous head injuries was subsequently rushed to Mayo hospital. However doctor had pronounced him dead while operating.
