Nagpur News: Seven people including three officials of Birla Tyres company were booked by Sitabuldi police for allegedly duping city businessman of around Rs 1 crore by manhandling the deal papers.
On the complaint lodged by Ashok Baheti, director of IBC express private limited at Civil Lines, police has booked Sanjay Shyni, Ashwin Shyni and other employee of Shyni company, all residents of Roorkee in Haridwar under fraud charges.
Arvind Singh-chief executive officer of Birla Tyres, Vinay Hudda-Chief Production officer, Sanjeev Sinha- head sales and other are also alleged of their involvement in fraud.
According to the police, Baheti had started coal transport and dealing business. He had made a deal with Birla tyres for coal supply. As per the deal, he had supplied 6300 metric tons to the agents, Sanja and Ashwin Shyni. Baheti claimed that the deal was signed with Birla Tyres officials through the agents.
However, Singh and other paid him charges of only 4700 metric tons coal. Baheti claimed that Singh and others change his name by overwriting and duped his deal amount of Rs 1 crore. Baheti had initially approached JMFC court. Later, on the court’s order, a case was registered.
