Nagpur: Cops attached to Social Security Branch (SSB) of Nagpur City Police on Tuesday busted a sex racket operating from Amanjena Spa at Khamla in Rana Pratap Nagar area and rescued four young girls allegedly dragged into flesh trade by three persons.
Police found that the spa staff including Manisha alias Mahima Suresh Farkade, (35), a resident of Ramnagar, Hilltop Seva Nagar, Saroj Manoj Sharma (38), Sonba Nagar, F/1, Saroja Apartment, Lava Gram Panchayat Wadi and its manager Nilendra Mahesh Uke (34), Control Wadi, Rahul Chowk Opposite Sonali Hospital were forcibly pushing girls into prostitution.
The SSB received a complaint that flesh trade was flourishing at Amanjena Spa under the garb of massage parlour. Cops also received information that the accused trio forced young girls at the spa into prostitution. The SSB officers sent a decoy customer to the spa. After he confirmed that sex racket was being operated by the accused, a police team raided the spa and took the accused into custody.
A case was registered against Nilendra Uke, Saroj Sharma and Manisha Farkade under Sections 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act at Rana Pratap Nagar Police Station.
The raid was conducted by PI Sareen Durge, PSI Mahendra Thote, HC Laxman Choure, HC Lata Gawai, NPC Sheshrao Raut, NPC Aarti Chauhan, PC Ashwin Mange and PC Nitin Wasne under the supervision of senior Crime Branch officers.
