Nagpur: The Beltarodi police have uncovered a prostitution racket operating at Hotel Ashoka Imperial in Manish Nagar and rescued a girl from Delhi. Two persons have been booked in connection with this case. The police have registered a case against Bilal alias Bunty Ahmed Ali, a resident of Shambhu Nagar, Koradi, and his accomplice Vishal, and have initiated a search for them.
According to police, they received information indicating that Bilal and Vishal were involved in a prostitution racket, specifically with girls of foreign origin, at the hotel. The police laid a trap and arranged for a decoy customer to contact Vishal via his mobile number.
Vishal sent the Delhi girl to the decoy customer at Rs 5,000/-. Upon interrogation, the girl disclosed the identities of Bilal and Vishal. The police rescued her and filed a case under Sections 370, 370 (a), and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, read with Sections 3, 4, 5, and 7 of the Prevention of Immoral Trafficking Act (PITA).
The arrest was conducted by Senior Police Inspector Mukund Kawade, PSI Malokar, ASI Achyut Rinde, Anil Gadwe, Tejram Deole, Ravi Akre, Prashant Thawkar, Kunal Landge, Ingle, and Tembhre. A police official stated that multiple prostitution offenses have been registered against both accused persons.
