Nagpur: Sadar Police busted sex racket operating at ‘The Look Luxury Salon Spa’ located on Chhindwara Road in Nagpur and arrested five persons including the spa manager. The police rescued four women including 2 from Assam during the operation.
The arrested accused are Sakshi alias Manisha Chandrahas Tupe (30) from Uruvela Colony,Wardha Road; Rakesh Sabulal Bandewar alias Raj Thakur (33), Ujjwal Nagar, Somalwada; Abhishek Prabhakar Mahure (32), Manish Nagar; Mohan Bhagwantrao Surkar (40), Nildoh, Hingna; and Rajendra Chitamanarao Pandey (52), Wanadongri, Hingna. Mohan and Rajendra were customers.

Deputy Commissioner Rahul Madane received information about the prostitution activities at the establishment. He directed the Sadar police to conduct a raid. As a result, the police raided the Spa and busted the racket. The police seized material worth Rs 28,140 and registered a case against the accused under the provisions of Prevention of Immoral Traffic Act.
The raid was conducted by Senior Police Inspector Manish Thakre, along with API Omprakash Sontakke, and staff including Mahesh Bawne, Nandkishore Devgade, Jayanta, Aqib Shaikh, Ashish, and WPC Radha and Neelima.
Online prostitution racket busted, woman arrested:
The Social Security Branch (SSB) of the Crime Branch uncovered an online prostitution racket and arrested a woman in this connection. The accused woman was identified as Smita alias Aarti Prem Dhole (37), a resident of Rambagh.
According to police, the SSB received crucial information about the online sex racket operating near Hill Top, Ambazari. Acting on the tip-off, the SSB officials set up a trap and nabbed the woman when she was facilitating a deal with a customer near MSRDC office near Variety Square. A woman was rescued by the police during the operation. However, another accused, Salman alias Roshan Dongre (30), a resident of Hill Top, managed to flee and is currently on the run. The police are searching for him.
A case under the provisions of PITA was registered at Sitabuldi police station. The arrest was made byWPI KavitaIsarkar,andstaffincluding Sachin Badhiye, Sheshrao Raut, Ashwin Mange, Sameer Sheikh, Kunal Masram, Nitin Wasane, Kamlesh Kshirsagar, Lata Gavai, and Poonam Shende.
