Nagpur: The Crime Branch police have busted a sex racket operating under the guise of a spa at Nature Beauty Salon, located in Anand Bhandar Building, Dharampeth, under Sitabardi Police Station. In this operation, two accused have been arrested, and three victimized women have been rescued. The arrested women are identified as Akanksha alias Ritika alias Kumud Hiralal Meshram (26 years old, resident of Ramnagar) and Sofia alias Nitu Zakir Sheikh (30 years old, resident of Ward No. 05, Noor Nagar, Koradi).
According to the information, the accused women were luring girls/women into prostitution under the pretext of providing jobs at the massage parlor for their financial benefit. Upon receiving information, the Crime Branch police set a trap and uncovered the illegal activities.

The police have seized assets worth Rs. 1,10,520 from the accused. Sitabardi Police have registered a case against the accused under Case No. 681/2024, Section 143 of the Indian Penal Code, and Sections 4, 5, and 7 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956. Further investigation is ongoing.
