Nagpur News: A 10-member delegation of Shiv Sena led by senior leader Subhash Desai today (Thu. 9 May) met the Governor of Maharashtra K. Sankaranarayanan at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai and urged him to prevail upon the State Government “to stop the implementation of the Local Body Tax”.

The delegation comprising Shiv Sena Group leader in the Legislative Council Diwakar Raote, Ramdas Kadam, Sunil Prabhu, Mayor and others told the Governor that the continued strike by the traders, merchants and shopkeepers on the issue of LBT was affecting the common people. They requested the Governor to intervene to end the strike.
