Shri Kalgidhar Satsang Mandal to organise Shri Krishna Avtar on Aug 26, Gopalkala on Aug 27

Nagpur: Shri Kalgidhar Satsang Mandal, Nagpur, will organise Shri Krishna Avtar on August 26 and Gopalkala on August 27 with great enthusiasm. According to Convenor Adv Madhavdas Mamtani, preparations for Thaddari (Sindhi festival), will be on August 24 and on August 25 (Saptami) ‘Thaddi’ will be celebrated.

Shri Krishna Avtar (Janmashtami) will be celebrated on 26th August (Ashtami) and Gopalkala Gokulashtami (Navami) will be celebrated on 27th August, Tuesday. On the occasion of the Avtar of Shri Krishna, Satsang-kirtan-discourse has been organized from 6 am to 8.30 am on Monday, 26th August at Shri Kalgidhar Satsang Mandal hall. On Tuesday 27th August, on the occasion of Gopalkala (appearance of Shri Krishna in Gokul), there will be a group recitation of Panch Shri Japuji Sahib and Shri Sukhmani Sahib from 2 pm and then at 5 pm, Gurbani Kirtan preacher Dada Madhavdas Mamtani Vakil Sahib will deliver discourse on Shri Krishna Avtar from Shri Dasam Granth.

According to Convener Dada Vakil Sahib, Shri Krishna’s life character is found in many religious texts, one of these texts is Shri Dasam Granth composed by Guru Gobind Singh. This Granth is established at Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazur Sahib, Nanded, Takhat Harimander Sahib Patna and many other Gurudwaras of India. Shri Guru Gobind Singh writes in Dasam Granth that by listening and singing this Shri Krishna katha, sorrows and pains will vanish away. Sri Guru Gobind Singh has given a detailed description of 24 Hindu incarnations in Sri Dasam Granth.

The program will conclude with Aarti, stuti of the eleven Gurus and Maa Bhagwati mentioned in the Dasam Granth, Anand Sahib, Ardaas and distribution of Prasad. Convenor Adv Madhavdas Mamtani has appealed to all to participate in the program in large numbers.
