Aurangabad: Alleged Shiv Sena activists today attacked the car of former Maharashtra Advocate General Shrihari Aney here, police said.

Aney, who had incurred the wrath of Shiv Sena in the past after he endorsed the demand of separate Vidarbha and Marathwada, was not hurt in the incident.

He had come here to inaugurate a program organised by Marathwada Mukti Morcha related to the demand of separate Marathwada state.

Some activists, allegedly from Shiv Sena, pelted stones at his car when he was heading for the venue, police said.
Six persons were detained by the police.
