Taking RSS head on in its fort, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi continued with his anti BJP campaign using dalit card and even comparing the bereaved student Rohit Vemula with Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. In Nagpur with Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Monday, Rahul displayed his fire brand antics while clearly hinting that he has taken some serious politics in his stride. The party led by Rahul organised a Samvidhan rally at Kasturchand Park here to commemorate 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. Ambedkar. The programme at Nagpur had the Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi and all the senior leaders of the party present.

Speaking at a rally, Rahul said, “BR Ambedkar had raised his voice when he was asked to sit in the corner away from other children. Rohith Vemula raised same issue, but what did the central government do. Narendra Modi, his ministers and the RSS did everything possible to run over that aspiration.”

During the meeting Rahul rightly pitched for Congress Party as an exercise to prepare level playing ground for future polls. He confined that Congress is the only party that functions in the ideologies of Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar in the true sense.

Rahul added that Congress party is the only party that along with maintaining the unity and integrity of the nation, also fights for the rights of the victimized and help them get justice.

Enlisting his party’s welfare measures, Rahul stated that Congress has ensured and provided security for education, land, food and rights of the victimized citizens of the nation. While quoting the teachings of Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar, Rahul Gandhi said that we will fight against untouchability and hence decry or vehemently oppose Manu Smruti. On the other hand, Sangh has adopted Manu Smruti in their life and wants to create such a society run on the ideologies mentioned in Manu Smruti.

Armed with the Constitution written by Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar, Congress Party had made daring attack on the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that they intend to change the constitution and make it to suit their own likings. Rahul went on to say that the Congress party will not allow anything like this to happen.

Rahul added that this is the only reason why he is always the target of BJP. This is also because the BJP knows that he will never allow their ulterior motives to succeed. While appealing to the masses, Rahul said that he is fighting and needs the active support of the masses. While Prime Minister and the officials of his government show eagerness to celebrate the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar, but are indulging in every activity that breaks the unity and social equality of our nation. This is one reason why the BJP does not have any ethical base to celebrate the birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar.

Rahul Gandhi while speaking about the suicide of student of Hyderabad University Rohit Vemula he said that Venula has not committed a suicide, instead he has laid his life as a sacrifice to fight against the policies of the present government. He went on to say that the Congress party will not let the sacrifice of that youth who was demanding his rights, and died go waste.

We will fight the ideologies that are breaking the unity of the society and the nation. According to me, there are only two political ideologies that exist in the nation today. While one supports the ideologies of Manu Smruti the other opposes the ideologies suggested in Manu Smruti. I will never allow this country to bow down before these divisionary forces claimed Rahul Gandhi.

While addressing the meeting, AICC President Sonia Gandhi said that Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar is the real hero who spread the message of equality in the society. He is also the ideal for the nation. Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar has given us our constitution, which is a document for social revolution. Babasaheb Dr B R Ambedkar has worked with the Congress Party and with the cooperation received from Congress party had revealed it to the masses too.

Sonia Gandhi went on to say that those very people who had once opposed them are today celebrating the birth anniversary of Dr Babasaheb R Ambedkar. Those who never contributed towards the making of the constitution, today claim themselves to be the greatest follower of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar.

While targeting the RSS and the BJP, Sonia Gandhi said that these organization have always neglected constitution and its principles.

Nagpur-Congress

Prime Minister Narendra Modi often speaks about united and joint development of the nation, but does not implement the same in reality. This is being done on the directions of the organization in Nagpur.

Since today is the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Fule, the congregation had remembered the great person. A condolence was also offered to the people who lost their lives in the fire in the temple in Kerala.

The entire Kasturchand Park Ground was packed during the Congress public meeting.  Sources claimed that more than one lakh people were present during this meeting.

Congress party showed their might to RSS and BJP in Nagpur city that hosts Deekshabhoomi which was where Dr Babasaheb R Ambedkar propagated the concept of social equality. It appeared as if Congress party was challenging the BJP right in the Sangh Bhoomi.
