Sonu Sood’s Audi caught fire; No one hurt

The famed Dabangg villain of Bollywood Sonu Sood, who hails from Nagpur had the harrowing experience on Monday when his plush sedan went up in flames. Fortunately Sood was not on the wheels when the incident happened on Western Express Highway in Bandra (East) area of Mumbai. He was travelling in another car behind the Audi.

Sood was returning home to Andheri from a press conference in Worli, when all of a sudden, a bystander noticed smoke coming out from the car.

Sood said, “I was returning home and my friend Ajay Dhama was driving the Audi. The incident took place at Kalanagar junction, but Dhama escaped unhurt.”

Eyewitnesses said that auto drivers rushed to the spot and doused the flames. Following the incident, the car was towed to the Kherwadi police station.

Sources from Kherwadi police said that no case had been registered. Just an hour after the incident, a taxi also caught fire at the same spot. Fortunately no one was injured in the second blaze too.
