Delhi Public School, MIHAN celebrated its 4th Annual Day for Grades IV-XI on 17th December 2023. The theme of the theatrical performance of the evening was ‘SEVEN WHEELS OF INSIGHT- A SCHOLAR’S EXPLORATION’ beautifully showcased that Chakras are important elements in our spiritual path and understanding them will allow us to integrate our mind, body and spirit. The narrative was a rich tapestry of academic exploration, personal growth, and spiritual awakening, weaving together diverse elements to create a holistic and inspiring tale.
Dr. Pramod M. Padole, Director of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Mr Archit Chandak DCP (Economic Offences Wing & Cyber Crime Office) Nagpur was the Guest of Honour of the programme. The function took place in the august presence of the President and Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road Nagpur Ms Tulika Kedia, Director DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road Ms Savita Jaiswal, Mr.Anunay Kedia, Principal DPS Kamptee Road Ms Yogeeta Umalkar and Mr. Inderjeet Parganiha, Bursar DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road along with the school Principal Ms. Nidhi Yadav.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries and invoking God’s blessings. Principal Ms Nidhi Yadav rendered the welcome address. She highlighted the achievements of the school in curricular and co-curricular areas and thanked the school management and the parents for their continuous support. Ms.Tulika Kedia in her address emphasized that for a student knowledge and wisdom gained through self-discovery will nourish one’s growth towards a unique purpose.
The cultural programme began with a spellbinding performance of the students in Ganesh Vandana. The chief guest in his speech laid the importance of diligent efforts to achieve one’s goals. Guest of Honour Mr Archit emphasized that one should always work with a focus and aim in life without losing any hope. Both the dignitaries appreciated the Madhubani paintings that were presented as a memento by the young artists of the school.
To commemorate the event an exhibition on the theme NEP 2020 – Visions Unveiled was also held which displayed the various creative works of the students.
Head Boy Mst. Ananth Bokade and Head Girl Ms.Nitya Bajhal anchored the proceedings while the Vote of Thanks was proposed by Ms Sidhi Goel.
