Nagpur: The dedication ceremony of late Laxmanrao Somasao Barbate Square (beautified by Barbate family) and ‘bhoomipujan’ ceremony of a cement road to be constructed from Gayatri Tower (Jalaram Mandir Road) to Mokhare Complex will be held on Sunday (July 31) at the hands of Union Surface Transport and Shipping Minister Nitin Gadkari. Mayor Pravin Datke will preside over the function.
Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule will grace the programmes as the chief guest. Among other dignitaries who will attend the two events include Rajyasabha member Ajay Sancheti, MLAs Vikas Kumbhare, Krishna Khopde, Dr Milind Mane, Sudhakar Deshmukh, Sudhakar Kohale, MLCs Anil sole, Girish Vyas, Leader of Opposition in NMC Vikas Thakre, Deputy Mayor Satish Holay, Chairman of Standing Committee Sudhir Raut, Leader of Ruling Party Dayashankar Tiwari, Municipal Commissioner Shravan Hardikar and others.
