Srinivasan Iyer’s exhibition of abstract painting in city

Nagpur: Srinivasan Iyer, an eminent and well known artist from Jamnagar, Gujarat and alumni of Dinanath High School is in Orange City and displaying exhibition of his art that includes painting of Lord Ganesh images, Temple Bells, Musical Instruments, Temples and Abstract Paintings under the head Theme 5.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Sanjay Rathi, Commissioner, GST, Central Excise and Customs. The guest of honour were Ila Banerjee, former Principal of Dinanath High school and Manish Awasthi, Chief Political Editor of India News. Sanjay Choudhary, Assistant Commissioner, RPF, graced the occasion as special guest.

The exhibition is being showcased at Jawaharlal Darda Art Gallery, Lokmat Square up to January 23, 2018.

An abstract artist of repute, Srinivas Iyer hails from Jamnagar, Gujarat. He is also alumni of Dinanath High School. He gifted one 5×4″ life size painting of Lord Ganesh to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at his residence on Monday. This is one his best paintings. Srinivasan handed over the painting in presence of Soma Kiran, Jai Ambhore, Vice President and Secretary of Dinanath Alumni Trust Pranob Kiran .
