On the 4thFeb’2013 students of classes XII & X were felicitated at the hands of Managing Director Madam Grace Pinto on the occasion of farewell ceremony held of St. Xavier’s High School, Hiwri Nagar, Nagpur. The ceremony commenced with the Bible reading , Prayer, Special prayer and Prayer songs. All the branches of Xavier’s group of schools from Nagpur region ie. Hingna, MIDC State Board, Hiwri, Gondia participated in the ceremony. The farewell was organized by the student council of std IX of all the branches. Madam Pinto graced the occasion and guided the students to respect parents, elders also have respect for oneself and develop self confidece . She gave the clarion call reiterating the philosophy — I can, I will, I must be a winner; Every child is the precious gift of God and his parents. She motivated students to contribute worthwhile to the society. She felicitated the students as Xavier’s, Prince and Princess, All rounder student, Scientific inclination award, Maths whizkid, Avid reader, Nibbling feet award, Sports achievement, and Nightingale etc.
Teachers were also felicitated for cent percent result at the hands of Managing Director Madam. The standard X students’ cabinet passed on the torch of enlightenment and responsibility to the IX standard counterparts with passing lit candle ceremony. The programme ended with the closing chorus and vote of thanks.
