Vasai/Nagpur: 15 railway commuters were injured after falling into a gutter following a stampede on platform number 1 at Vasai railway station on Tuesday morning due to peak hour rush according to reports.
Enormous crowds had collected on the platform as Western Railway trains heading towards Churchgate were running late due to a derailment at Lower Parel earlier in the day.
A few commuters received injuries in the incident and have been admitted in a local hospital.
