Nagpur News : The increased diesel prices are all set to pinch people in Nagpur. The prime means of transportation in Nagpur Star bus management is contemplating the hike in its fares from February 1 in the wake of increased cost of each run.
The projected fare for 0 to 2 kms is Rs 7 against the existing fare of Rs 5. But for 2 to 10 kms distance the fares would remain unchanged.
Again for 10 to 12 kms, the new fare would be Rs 14 against the existing rate of Rs 12. For 14 to 16 kms, the fare would be Rs 19 – an addition of Rs 4 to the existing fare of Rs 15.

For each run of 16 to 18 kms, a commuter has to shell out Rs 22, which is Rs 5 more than existing fare of Rs 17.
The new fares would likely to come into effect from February 1.
