State Govt makes partial changes in transfers of DCPs, SPs

Nagpur: The Home Department of Maharashtra Government has made partial changes regarding reshuffle of Deputy Commissioners of Police and Superintendents of Police carried out a couple of days ago.

According to the changes, Namrata G Patil (Chavan), currently SP Economic Offences Wing (EOW), Maharashtra State, Mumbai, has been shifted as Commander, SRPF Group 2 at Pune, replacing Deepak P Devraj who has been posted as SP, Economic Offences Wing, Maharashtra State, Mumbai.

Nagpur DCP Sunil Lokhande has now been appointed as SP, Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Thane. Similarly, Tirupati L Kakde, currently SP, Force One (UCTC), Maharashtra State, Mumbai, will be DCP at Navi Mumbai. Solapur DCP Prakash Sampatrao Gayakwad has been appointed as DCP, Mira-Bhayander-Vasai-Virar.

It may be recalled that the Maharashtra Government on Monday transferred 104 police officers of the rank of Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) and Superintendents of Police (SPs). Of these, 11 officers have been transferred to Nagpur city and district.

Rahul Maknikar, Additional Superintendent of Police (Addl SP) of Nagpur Rural, is the new Superintendent of Police of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Nagpur. The post was vacant after the transfer of Rakesh Ola to Ahmednagar as SP. Maknikar, a State Police Service (SPS) officer, has wide experience of policing in different capacities. He worked as Additional SP Nagpur Rural for a year. Earlier, Maknikar was posted as DCP in Nagpur city police. DCP Zone II Dr Sandip Pakhale will be the new Additional SP of Nagpur Rural police unit.

DCP Zone III Gajanan Rajmane, who is known for deterrent action against criminals, has been transferred as SP Force One in Mumbai, which is a specialised counter terrorism unit of Maharashtra police. The top rank police officials of Nagpur city heaved a sigh of relief with the transfer order as six new DCP rank officers are shifted to Nagpur. The City Police was operating with just four DCPs for the past one month.

Sudarshan Mummaka, Addl SP Parbhani district; Dhondopant S Swami, DCP, Zone VIII, Mumbai city; Anurag Jain, Addl SP, Latur; Gorakh Suresh Bhamre, Addl SP, Washim; Shravan Datt, Addl SP, Buldhana will take charge as DCPs in Nagpur city. Similarly, DCP SID Mumbai Vishwas Pandhre has been transferred to Protection of Civil Rights (PCR) Nagpur as Prashant Khaire, SP PCR Nagpur shifted to Ahmednagar as Addl SP.

Sunil Kadasane, SP ACB Nashik, will be the new SP of GRP, Nagpur. Rajlaxmi Shivankar, SP, Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Nagpur transferred as GRP, Pune as SP. She will be replaced by Vishwa Pansare, who earlier headed Gondia district as SP. Yeshwant Solanke Addl SP, Wardha has been appointed as SP of Highway Police, Nagpur. Pankaj Dahane, Commandant SRPF Group IV Nagpur posted as DCP Mumbai City.

Priyanka Narnawre , DCP, Pune City will be the new Commandant of SRPF Group IV Nagpur while Bhagyashri Nawtake, DCP, Pune City will lead SRPF Group XVII Chandrapur as Commandant. Vijay Magar, who headed Nagpur Rural, posted as DCP Pune city while SP CID Sambhaji Kadam transferred to Amravati City as DCP.
