According to the new Government Resolution (GR) from the Maharashtra Government, the Board has introduced a new scheme to distribute household utility items and safety kits to construction workers. Let’s explore what the Construction Workers Household Utility Kit Scheme entails.
What safety items are included in the Construction Workers’ Safety Kit?
Under the Construction Workers’ Safety Kit Scheme, the Welfare Board organizes distribution programs for safety kits across the state. The following items are included in the safety kit:
• Bag
• Reflector Jacket
• Safety Helmet
• Four-compartment Lunchbox
• Safety Boots
• Solar Torch
• Solar Charger
• Water Bottle
• Mosquito Net
• Mesh
• Safety Gloves
• Mat, etc.
The household utility kit includes the following items:
• Plates
• Bowls
• Water Glasses
• Pots with Lids
• Large Spoon (for serving rice)
• Water Jug (2 litres)
• Spice Box (with 7 compartments)
• Dabba with Lid (14 inches)
• Dabba with Lid (16 inches)
• Dabba with Lid (18 inches)
• 5-litre Pressure Cooker (Stainless Steel)
• Steel Pan (Kadhai)
• Large Steel Drum with Lid
In total, 30 kitchen utensils are provided as part of the kit.
