Nagpur : Hundreds of members of Vidarbha Police Patil Welfare Association Nagpur on Thursday staged a demonstration at Tekdi Road Nagpur to highlight their various demands.
The association was led by president Dipak Paliwal, state president Mahadev Nagargoje and working president Suryabhan More.

The agitators demanded that the remuneration paid to Police Patil in the State should be increased. They also demanded that the vacant posts of Police Patil be filled at the earliest, retirement pension be started, Police Patil Welfare Fund be instituted, and that their family members be considered during new appointments.
Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Sudhir Parve reached the agitating Police Patil and assured to take up their demands with the Chief Minister.
