Stay indoors between 1 pm and 4 pm, TN govt tells citizens

Chennai: Tamil Nadu has been under alert for over 10 days now. Fishermen along the coasts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry have been asked not venture out into the sea since November 30. The TN government has asked people in Chennai not to come out of their homes and buildings between 1 pm and 4 pm. Those who are out on the streets have been asked to move to safer places.

The cyclone is expected to make landfall at 1:30 pm.
