Students Navigate Muddy, Poorly Maintained Roads As School Resumes Classes in Nagpur

Nagpur: Today marked the reopening of schools across Nagpur district and Vidarbha region after an extended summer break, with students of Gyan Vidya Mandir School on Khadgaon Road in Nagpur returning to their classrooms amidst challenging conditions here on Monday.

Under the directive of Ulhas Narad, Deputy Director of Education, schools were instructed to commence the new academic year on July 1st. While some schools prepared welcoming atmospheres with decorations, others faced criticism for what was perceived as neglectful treatment from local authorities.

Parents and students of Gyan Vidya Mandir School had to navigate muddy and poorly maintained roads to reach the school, underscoring the uneven conditions experienced across different parts of the region.

Despite these challenges, students displayed resilience and enthusiasm as they reunited with teachers and classmates, eager to resume their studies. Teachers and staff at the school warmly greeted students, emphasizing the importance of education and their dedication to supporting the students through any obstacles they may face.
