She attended an award function by PETA in Mumbai and won the Digital Activism Award by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). She was awarded for her stand against animal cruelty in India. “I love animals and I feel that they don’t have a voice so we need to stand up for them. I am happy to be associated with PETA”, Sunny Leone said.
On the work front, Sunny Leone is making her Tamil debut with Veeramahadevi. However, she has faced a serious backlash with the movie posters being burned down south. People in Karnataka are not happy as she portrays the role of a Goddess in the movie as she is a former adult entertainer.
