Nagpur: Suspense over the duration of the ongoing Winter Session of State Legislature in Nagpur may come to an end following the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC) on Tuesday, December 19. Reports are doing rounds that the Winter Session may be extended till December 22.
The meeting of BAC for Legislative Council is scheduled at 3.30 pm on Tuesday at Hall No 16, Ground Floor, Old Building in Vidhan Bhavan premises. Dr Neelam Gorhe, Deputy Chairperson of Legislative Council; Eknath Shinde, Chief Minister; Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Deputy Chief Ministers; Ambadas Danve, Leader of Opposition (Council); Chandrakant Patil, Parliamentary Affairs Minister, and others will attend the meeting.
In the meeting, the decision will be taken whether to extend the duration of the Winter Session beyond December 20, that is, the date till which the business calendar has been finalised. The Winter Session started from December 7, and till December 20, there are a total of 10 working days.
