A session on ‘Swacchata Hi Seva’ by Rotary Club and Nagpur Municipal Corporation was conducted in DPS MIHAN, as an initiative aiming to engage citizen particularly students in fostering a cleaner and healthier environment.
The session was preceded by Rotarian Dr. Rupa Adatia who appraised the students about waste segregation and sustainable waste management. She also emphasised on the importance of sanitation and environmental conservation for the future. Based on ‘Swacchata Hi Seva’, a movement ‘My Pocket My Bin’ was promoted amongst the students.

The Principal of the school Ms. Nidhi Yadav appreciated the efforts by Nagpur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Abhijeet Chaudhari (I.A.S.) and committed to promote students-led initiative to reduce plastic use and promote eco-friendly practices.
She also thanked the President and Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS MIHAN & Kamptee Road Ms.Tulika Kedia and Director Ms. Savita Jaiswal for encouraging these initiatives by the school which highlights the commitment of the school for contributing to green and clean city.
