Nagpur: Symbiosis School of Planning Architecture and Design in Nagpur, under the leadership of Director Dr. Nandini Kulkarni, conducted the Industry Academia Conclave 2023 on November 20th in a Hybrid Format. The event aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry by fostering collaborative efforts in research and creative ideation, providing students with well-structured pathways to enter the profession.
The conclave’s objectives included identifying joint grants for various projects, signing MOUs for collaborative initiatives, and creating opportunities for internships, sponsored degree projects, and placements. Dr. Parag Vyas, Founder and Head of Grau Bar Design in Indore, was the esteemed Guest of Honour for the event. Other notable guests in attendance were Dr. Daksh Kedia, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist at Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital in Pune, Mr. Manish Kedia, Chartered Biomedical Engineer at Biomed Manthan, and Mr. Harish Zambani and Ar. Savita Mokha from TIE, Nagpur Chapter.
The online panel of guests featured Mr. Manbhawan Kumar, COO of Persistent Systems, Mr. Vivek Bangade from FRDC in Bengaluru, Ms. Saumya Agarwal, Usability Analyst at Meesho, and Mr. Neil Umrigar, Mobility Designer at Ola in Bengaluru.
