Nagpur News : The Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court has directed Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) to take Rajkamal Resort located in Ramtek Gadmandir area into its possession and not to renew contract of resort.

Prashant Kimmatkar had filed a writ petition citing that since 20 years, one company was given contract of resort since 20 years. The next hearing has been fixed on January 6, 2014. According to court’s order, Rajkamal Resort has been made respondent. According to petitioner, “MTDC had given contract to Rajkamal company for five years way back in 1992. The contract was renewed on three occasions. ”

The petitioner pleaded that tender for resort should be floated.
