TDP MLA From Araku Shot Dead by Naxals in Visakhapatnam

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA from Araku, Kidari Sarveswara Rao, has reportedly been shot dead by Naxals in Dumbriguda Mandal area of Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam district. Former Araku MLA Siveri Soma has also been killed, reports claim.

The incident occurred near Thutangi village, about 125 km from coastal city of Visakhapatnam. The Maoists attacked Rao and former MLA Siveri Soma when they were attending a programme in Araku.
