On 5th September 2024, Delhi Public School MIHAN celebrated Teachers’ Day with great fervour. The event was organized by the students to express their gratitude and appreciation towards the teachers of Grades III -XII for their constant guidance and support.
The celebration began with a special morning assembly to mark the importance of the day. Students presented various cultural programmes that included a poem recitation, dance performances and a skit to draw the attention of the students towards the integrity of the profession. Thoughts and sayings of Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan were also shared on the occasion.
The HM’s of the school in their address urged the students to work hard for their future endeavours by utilizing the excellent resources and guidance provided by the President and Pro-Vice Chairperson of DPS MIHAN and Kamptee Road Ms. Tulika Kedia and the Director Ms. Savita Jaiswal. They motivated the students to strive for success and make their school and parents proud through their achievements. Principal Ms. Nidhi Yadav extended her greetings to all the teachers on the occasion.
In another celebration by Grade II Lavenders a lively presentation was put up for the Grades I & II wherein the students extended their heartfelt gratitude through touching messages for their teachers.
The Teachers’ Day celebration at DPS MIHAN was a grand success and thanking their mentors who continue to inspire and educate. It was a day filled with joy, appreciation, and respect, leaving everyone with cherished memories that was a beautiful reminder of the bond between teachers and students and the impact that teachers have on the lives of their students.
The event concluded with a formal vote of thanks, acknowledging all those who contributed to making the day memorable.
