Teenage boy killed as four-wheeler hits his bike in Wadi

Nagpur: An 18-year old boy was killed and his friend was injured as a four-wheeler rammed their bike in Wadi police area on Wednesday night. The unidentified four-wheeler driver fled the spot after the mishap and is being searched by cops.

The deceased, Rajesh Shivprasad Uike (18), was a resident of Raghupati Nagar. Rajesh, along with his friend, was going on a Bajaj Pulsar bike (MP-28/N 2844) around 7.15 pm on Wednesday. Midway near Madina Chicken Centre, Khadgaon Road, a rashly driven four-wheeler rammed their bike with forceful impact. Rajesh as a result suffered fatal injuries and died on the spot while his friend was injured. The unidentified four-wheeler driver fled the spot after the mishap.

Wadi ASI Gavai, based on information given by Balvir Shivram Narose (33), booked the unidentified driver under Sections 279, 304(A) read with Sections 134, 137 of Motor Vehicles Act and searching for him.
