Nagpur: A teenage girl ended her life by consuming poison in Wathoda police area on Monday. The reason behind the girl taking such drastic step could not be known immediately.
The deceased, Mrunali alias Mansi Banduji Wankhede (16), was a resident of Plot No. 6, near Raghute Bhavan, Krishna Nagar, Dighori. On Monday, around 6 pm, Mrunali consumed some poisonous stuff at her residence. As her health deteriorated, she was rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). However, she died while undergoing treatment around 2 pm on Tuesday. The exact reason behind Mrunali taking such extreme step could not be known immediately.

Wathoda ASI, based on information, registered a case of accidental death and launched an in-depth probe to ascertain the reasons behind Mrunali’s suicide.
