Nagpur: A 17-year old girl was abducted by two miscreants from MIDC area by calling her on the pretext of dancing at a marriage ceremony. Cops have launched massive search to trace the girl and the two accused who hailed from Uttar Pradesh.
According to police, the complainant elder sister of the kidnapped sibling, resident of MIDC area, told police that around 1 pm on April 11, 2018, her 17-year old sister received calls from the two accused Raj alias Golu Patel having mobile phone 9565563931 and Vikas Verma having cell phone 7318459213, both natives of village Mandi Mahu, district Jaunpur (UP). The accused duo called the teenage girl on the pretext of dancing at a marriage ceremony. As she went there at the marriage celebration, the accused Raj alias Golu Patel and Vikas Verma kidnapped her and took her to an undisclosed destination.
MIDC PSI Rajput, as per Supreme Court directives that if a minor boy or girl goes missing then the case be treated that of kidnapping, registered an offence under Section 363 of the IPC and launched a search to trace the girl. A team of cops may have been dispatched to Uttar Pradesh to nab the accused abductors.
