Teenager arrested for molesting, manhandling minor girl

Nagpur: A teenager was arrested for molesting and manhandling a 17-year-old girl under the jurisdiction of Nandanvan police station.

According to information, the accused Pravin Bholenath Bihare (18), a resident of Kharbi Road, hit 17-year-old girl on Tuesday at around 9 pm. The accused then hurled profanities at her and molested her with his indecent behaviour. The accused also manhandled her.

On the basis of the complaint of the victim, Nandanvan police have registered an offence under Sections 354 (a) (d), 323, and 504 of the IPC read with sub Section 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and arrested the teenager.
