Nagpur, Feb 1, 2024 Nagpur Municipal Corporation and Orange City Water announces temporary water supply arrangements during the internal cleaning and
painting of the Dighori Elevated Service Reservoir (ESR) from February 3rd, 2024 to February 13th, 2024.
To facilitate essential maintenance, water supply to elevated reservoirs will be temporarily halted. Instead, bypass arrangements will ensure continued service to consumers, However, it is anticipated that some areas may experience lower water pressure. Following the maintenance work, the project will be handed over to NMC for seamless completion.
These arrangements are necessary to ensure the ongoing delivery of safe, high-quality drinking water.
During the process, the water supply in the following areas will be affected:
1. Dighori Command area: Sai nagar, Jijamata nagar, Adiwasi nagar, Birsa nagar, Old Dighori, Shivsunder nagar, Yogeshwar nagar, Senapati nagar, Ramkrishna nagar, Sarvasri nagar, Pragati colony, Gousia, Smruti nagar, Vaibhav nagar, Kirthi nagar, Telephone nagar, Rahul nagar, Gajan nagar, Mahanada nagar, Beldar nagar.
2. Sakkardhar 3 Command Area: Niral asoc, Azad colony, Atkar layout, Shivangi society, and Adarsh nagar.
