Tension in Rajshri Mulak College after contractor downsizes staff

Nagpur: While defending the KDK College run by Former Minister of State for Finance and Energy Rajendra Mulak, a senior member of Management of KDK College Swapnil Satone said that the report that 22 Teaching and Non-Teaching staff was thrown out of Rajshri Mulak College on October 21, 2015 is entirely baseless.

Swapnil Satone said that the management had contracted out certain works like Security, House-Keeping and other odd-jobs personnel. The contractor who had taken the contract of House-Keeping and other peon and odd-jobs personnel has allegedly downsized his staff working at Rajshri Mulak College.

Swapnil justified that the management of KDK College cannot insist on the personnel or demand that only so-and-so personnel should be employed by the contractor. It is completely the discretion of the contractor who he employs and where he employs someone.
