The hike should be rolled back – Shiv Sena


Protesting against the huge price hike in Diesel, Shiv Sena demonstrated in front of Panchasheel Talkies. They said that the increase in price will cause a price rise of all domestic commodities The hike should be rolled back, the party demanded.
The government today came under attack from all quarters over diesel price hike and the decision on LPG. With an increase of Rs. 5 per litre, bus owners said that it was impossible for them to operate under this current fare structure. Defending the decision Congress party general secretary Digvijay Singh said, the government has to take a conscious decision after taking all allies of the UPA into confidence.”We are not in favour of a hike in diesel prices to such an extent because it hurts the farmers and common man,” he said. He added that this should be discussed in the UPA Coordination Committee..
