Thieves decamp with booty worth Rs 2.17 lakh

Nagpur News: Unidentified thieves decamp with booty worth Rs 2.17 lakh from Pachpaoli police station area on Wednesday. The complainant Rahul Bhimrao Ukey (40), a resident of Kurhadpeth, behind Police Quarters wall, had gone Morphata with his family on Wednesday.

Between intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, unidentified thieves broke open the front door and looted gold ornaments and Rs 25,000 cash collectively worth Rs 2.17 lakh.

On the complaint of Rahul Ukey, Pachpaoli police registered an offence under Section 454, 457, and 380 of the IPC against the unidentified thieves. Police are further investigating the case.
