Nagpur News: In yet another house-breaking theft, unidentified thieves looted cash and gold ornaments worth Rs 1.25 lakh from Sonegaon police station area on Sunday.
Police said, Suryakant Rajaram Bhure (50), a resident of 47/B, Amar Asha layout, went to meet his father-in-law with his family. Meanwhile, unidentified thieves broke open the main door and entered the house. They took away Rs 30,000 cash and gold ornaments collectively worth Rs 1.25 lakh from the almirah of the bedroom. When Suryakant came back, he was shocked to discover the theft.
On the basis of the complaint of Suryakant Bhure, Sonegaon police registered a case under Sections 454, 457, and 380 of the IPC.
